Wrangler Pickup Release Date Is Coming Soon

Jeep Wrangler Pickup Coming Soon to Flagler CDJRIf you have ever dreamed of combining the off-road abilities of a Jeep® Wrangler with the versatility of a pickup, your dream is coming true. Fiat Chrysler is currently working on a Jeep® Wranger-based pickup and it isn’t too far off.

At a recent meeting, dealers learned that the Wrangler Pickup release date should be in April of 2019—less than a year from now! It scheduled to go into production in the fourth quarter of this year and we could possibly get the first glimpse of it at a late 2018 auto show, like the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

FCA hasn’t officially released this new pickup’s name, but many have guessed that it might be called the Scrambler, like a previous pickup version produced in the 1980s. We do know it will be based on the new four-door model of the Wrangler, but with an added bed on the back, making it a bit longer than any Wrangler model today.

Can you imagine how much fun this Wrangler Pickup is going to be? You will be able to bring along the whole crew and all of your gear at the same time. This will make it even easier to tackle your rugged outdoor adventures. Here at Flagler CDJR, we can’t wait until this Wrangler-based pickup truck arrives on our lot.
