New Year’s Resolutions for Your Truck

When you’re making goals and promises for the New Year, don’t forget to pick a few for your truck. After all, your pickup works hard for you and deserves to be cared for. Here are some New Year’s resolutions for your truck that will keep you both safe and happy in 2018.

Get Regular Oil Changes

You should never neglect to get regular oil changes for your pickup. Read your owner’s manual to find the recommended oil change schedule for your particular truck. Stick to the schedule, and your truck will run smoothly and efficiently throughout the New Year.

Check Tire Pressure

It’s good to be aware of your truck’s condition in general, and keeping an eye on tire pressure helps ensure smoother operation. Maintaining proper tire pressure and good tire condition will deliver more efficiency and safer driving.

Check Fluids

Another way you can work to become more aware of your truck’s condition is by checking your truck’s fluids regularly. Resolve to look under the hood every other week or so to be sure things look right. When in doubt, bring your pickup to Flagler CDJR for a professional opinion you can trust.

These are just a few of the resolutions you can undertake to ensure that you and your truck maintain a happy, healthy relationship in 2018.
