The River-to-Sea Preserve Trail Walk takes place on April 18th at 9 a.m. The walk will pass by the changes caused by Hurricane Irma, venture through the Florida coastal woodlands, and end with a quick lesson about how Native Americans once lived there.

Earth Day Celebration

The annual Earth Day Celebration kicks off on April 24th at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. The event will feature live entertainment, guided walks, and plant sales. Children will also have their own section to enjoy.

Palm Coast Songwriter’s Festival

The Palm Coast Songwriter’s Festival is hosted by the Palm Coast Observer, Palm Coast & the Flagler Beaches, and Kix County 98.7. The festival begins on May 4th and runs through May 6th. Hear the stories of how songwriters came up with their hits!

Movies in the Park

The Movies in the Park event is hosted by Palm Coast’s Parks and Recreation Department and Flagler Schools. The event is held in Central park on the second Friday of the month. The event kicks off on May 11th with a showing of Wonder Woman.

FlyGame Music Island Festival

The FlyGame Music Island Festival takes place on May 19th in Central Park. The event will include everything from island cuisine and live steel drum bands. Come out and celebrate Caribbean style!

On March 5th, you can join tennis enthusiasts from all over the world by celebrating World Tennis Day right here in Palm Coast. The Palm Coast Tennis Center will be hosting fun events all day for the whole family, so grab your rackets and head on over.

 

Movies In The Park featuring “Alice Through the Looking Glass”

Don’t miss the first Movie in the Park of 2018 at Central Park. Each month from March-October, The City of Palm Coast’s Parks and Recreation Department and Flagler Schools presents a family-friendly movie, and “Alice Through the Looking Glass” will show on March 9th at 7:45pm.

 

NCCAA Youth Sports Clinic

Have young ones interested in developing their athletic skills or learning a new sport? Then the NCCAA Youth Sports Clinic is the place to be. The National Christian College Athletic Association will provide free clinics for sports like golf, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. The clinic takes place on March 17th from 9:30am to 11:30am at the Indian Trails Sports Complex.

Things to Do: Palm Coast Fall Festivals

Palm Coast Fall FestivalsIf you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family, check out any one of the many Palm Coast fall festivals. Whether you’d like to visit a traditional Oktoberfest event or a food festival, there are tons of things to do nearby. Simply hop in your RAM truck and explore the area.

One upcoming festival is the Riverfront Wine and Food Walk in Downtown Daytona Beach on September 16. Just a short drive from Palm Coast, Daytona Beach is a world-renowned vacation destination. The fourth-annual event will have award-winning wines for you to taste, live music, give-aways, and more. You must be at least 21 or older to come to the festival, and you should be sure to get a designated driver if you decide to drink.

Another must-visit festival is the second-annual Oktoberfest at Wicked Barley Brewing Company on September 23 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. You can purchase VIP tickets for access to a private bar, a brewery tour, and more, while the live music is bound to keep visitors happy. There will be German food specials and over 10 types of German beer styles.

Finally, the News-Journal Food, Wine, and Brew Festival 2017 will take place on November 11 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at the News-Journal Center in Daytona Beach. This ticketed event provides benefits to the United Way, and it includes wine tasting, great food, raffles, and more. This is one event you don’t want to miss.
