The 2018 Challenger GT is one sports car that will make any driver smile. This performance model comes with a tuned all-wheel-drive system for added control, an active transfer case, and a sleek exterior. You can ride in style in the new GT, and this model also boasts a powerful engine under the hood to help you excel on both the track and the road.
According to AutoWeek, the Challenger GT comes with a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine that gets 305 horsepower. The Pentastar®, an award-winning engine, is ideal for those who want a combination of power and fuel economy, and when paired with AWD traction you’ll speed around corners on the track with ease.
“If you’re chasing the muscle car aesthetic and only have space for one car…the Challenger GT is essentially the only pony in town,” said Wesley Wren, associate editor at AutoWeek.
There are other great options in addition to the performance features, like the Technology Group—which has driver assist technologies—and a GT Interior Package for those who want a more comfortable ride. The exterior is subtle yet bold, with signature lighting and a narrow grille that sets this model apart wherever you go.
For a vehicle that delivers a sporty style to your daily driver, be sure to go with the 2018 Dodge Challenger GT. If you’d like to learn more about this vehicle, feel free to speak with our staff at Flagler CDJR.

When it comes to family cars, nothing does it better than the minivan. Despite many people negative attitudes towards the segment, once you experience the easy of loading kids into a vehicle with sliding doors, you never want to go back to anything else. That is why it is no surprise that the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica was named Cars.com’s Family Car of the Year.
Cars.com gave out this award at its 2018 Best of Awards hosted during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit early this year.
According to Cars.com editors, “Chrysler has a history of stuffing its minivans with innovations, and the Pacifica is no exception. It’s an achievement in practicality, from the improved Stow ‘n Go fold-flat seats to the available rear entertainment system that impresses even versus mobile devices.”
The Pacifica was just introduced for the 2017 model year and gets even better this year with more standard safety features, lower pricing for the base model, and more technology in the form of Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
To earn the Family Car of the Year award, the Pacifica had to demonstrate value, innovation, and quality. All three it does in spades.

Spy shots of the still under-wraps 2019 Ram 1500 show that Ram is adding a new tailgate to its popular light-duty truck. The tailgate will be split to the right of the handle, letting it open in multiple configurations for the smartest and most storage-friendly tailgate access ever found on a pickup.
Traditionally, truck tailgates are hinged to the bottom of the truck bed and open down in one long piece. The 2019 Ram 1500 tailgate will have detachable hinges at both the bottom of the bed and the sides of the bed. This will let you open it down as one big piece, or open one piece down the traditional way and one piece outward like a car door, or even open both pieces outward.
This smart configuration makes accessing the bed much easier, since you don’t have to climb over the tailgate to get to the bed, and the split configuration lets you carry long items on one side without having the entire tailgate open.
Only the back of the truck has been photographed at this point, so we don’t know all the details about the new tailgate, but keep an eye out for updates on the upcoming 2019 Ram 1500! And if you want to find out more about the 2019 Ram 1500 tailgate, give us a call today at Flagler CDJR.
