Jeep Pickup Truck Closer to Production

Jeep Pickup Truck is closer to production

Enthusiasts have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the new Jeep® pickup truck, but it looks like they’ll have to wait a little longer. The new model is currently around a year away from hitting dealership showrooms. Fortunately, spy shots for a production prototype gives a good look at what to expect from the upcoming model.

The upcoming Jeep® pickup truck will be the first on the lineup in more than 25 years. Forget what we saw in spy shots last year. The latest photos indicate that Jeep® is out to play a whole different ball game.

The new Jeep® pickup boasts an integrated bed with Wrangler wheel arches. Bed sides meet the roof pillars at the perfect angle to create a traditional pickup design. While there’s no word on if the roof is removable, it certainly isn’t out of the question.

Based on the Jeep® Wrangler’s history and reputation for off-road capability and rugged styling, the pickup is bound to follow the same path.

The Jeep® pickup truck will likely begin production in 2018 and arrive in showrooms for the 2019 model year.

We here at Flagler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram can’t wait for the Jeep® pickup truck to begin production!
